This 1-day course covers the roles and responsibilities of the employer to educate and assign a competent person to excavation sites.
This course covers OSHA Standards related to excavation and trenching. Topics include practical soil mechanics and its relationship to the stability of shored and un-shored slopes. Introduction to various types of shoring, soil Classification, and protective systems will be emphasized.
Trenching & Excavation Safety training is offered by European Health and Safety Agency. Professional Training and learning are the best way to acquire professional knowledge, develop intellectual skills, raise competence, and develop capabilities.
This course covers the responsibilities of the excavation competent person as spelled out in OSHA 29 CFR 1926.650. Students learn the OSHA-accepted soils classification methods, types of testing required, how to select protective systems and the elements of an excavation safety program.
