This one-day course builds on basic spreadsheeting skills that you have acquired in your workplace and helps you learn how to create a systematic and efficient approach to working with data in Excel.
You will learn how to prepare, name, sort, group, subtotal, filter, de-duplicate, chart, and analyse data for decision-making. Then you will apply your learning to real data from your workplace.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Navigate in Excel – Use shortcuts to move around in Excel quickly
Prepare and Sort data – Use Power Query to clean and transform data and tables
Name data ranges – Use named ranges to simplify formulas and referencing
Create list subtotals – Both single level and multi-level, learn to group and outline data
Filter data – By column and specific conditions, create lists; Use slicers and pivot charts
De-duplicate data – Identify and remove duplicates
Analyse data – Use Pivot tables, forecasting, Goal Seek, Solver, sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis
