Extinguisher Training

Our course will help you stay compliant with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, while also helping you with the insurance of your building.

The course is designed to give your staff an understanding of the risks associated with workplace fires, while giving them the ability to assess whether to evacuate or fight the fire. All participants use at least one fire extinguisher on a fire provided by our specifically designed safety trailer. They are then given a theory test based on information provided during the course. On completion they are issued a Fire Extinguisher Training Course Certificate valid for two years.

• Introduction
• Fire safety theory
• Fire extinguisher theory including an interactive lecture on human reaction, fire science and fire classification, as well as fire extinguisher identification and evacuation requirements
• Live fire extinguisher training and use
• Home safety theory
• Question and Answer time
• Assessment
