Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) must be worn when employees are working with certain gases, vapours and dusts whose levels are not sufficiently controlled by other means. Face fit testing ensures that the selected RPE is appropriate for the wearer and is serving its purpose of reducing exposure to acceptable levels.

Course Content
Delegates will learn to understand and ensure the correct fit of respiratory protective equipment using qualitative testing methods, for a variety of half and disposable masks.

Introduction to the concept of face fit testing
Demonstration of qualitative technique
Practical testing of all candidates
