Course Details:

This course will ensure that you have the knowledge that you need to ensure workplace safety in environments where there’s a risk of exposure to a wide range of hazardous materials.

Fitted Face Protection is only effective when it fits correctly, if there is any break in the seal of a tight-fitting face piece there is the risk of exposure and to workers’ health. To meet the legal obligations under the current COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations, it’s vital to ensure that all face pieces are fitted and worn correctly.

Course Aims:

To enable the attendee to train testers to carry out effective face fit testing and ensure suitable and adequate respiratory protection is supplied and worn by the workforce to maximise its protection for the workers.

• Identifying problems with R.P.E Inspecting R.P.E.

• How to fit R.P.E.

• Carrying out qualitative face fit testing

• Sensitivity tests

• Fit test protocols and pass levels

• Fit test failures and re-tests

• Associated test from completion

• Planning and managing a fit test program

• Structuring and delivering the training

• Practical assessments. testing trainees

Certification:

Learners will receive a certificate on completion of the course.
