A form of hair removal which originated from the Middle East, threading removes unwanted hairs using anti-bacterial cotton thread by twisting the thread and causing a trap – the back and forth movement traps the hair and pulls it from the root. Threading is so precise even a single hair can be removed.

Clients are choosing threading over waxing for facial hair removal because of the longer lasting affects and the precision of the treatment. Mainly a technique used on eyebrows, threading can give clients the shape they require and requires fewer treatments to keep the hairs at bay.

Threading can be used on any facial hair including face and upper lip. Threading is not just a treatment to be offered in Brow Bars or department stores; you can offer it as a stand alone treatment or add it along side existing treatments at your beauty salon or mobile beauty therapy service.
