This course will review the different types of fall protection systems available that best protect the worker along with discussion of suspension trauma and rescue plans. Participants will be active in the inspection of a harness and will demonstrate a proper fit of a full body harness.
Saskatchewan OHS legislation, manufacturer’s guidelines and CSA standards will be reviewed. Students will enjoy identifying fall hazards from real life worksites in this presentation. A good assortment of fall protection equipment will be available for participants to see up close with the option to purchase for their work place. (4hrs)

A qualified trainer will teach you how to properly operate and inspect an Aerial Work Platform. You will learn about manufacturer recommendations, machine safety, components, controls and Saskatchewan OHS legislation as it pertains to this equipment. This course will help participants be better operators. In class theory followed by practical evaluations.

This one-day course includes Confined Space Entry and is designed for workers who are required to be on standby for rescue purposes. If you have someone entering a confined space, you must have people monitoring and on standby in the event that a rescue is required.
