Fall Protection course is offered by Camosun Coastal Centre. The Camosun Coastal Centre (CCC) brokers training to enhance workforce development in the shipbuilding industry.
CCC creates partnerships with private and public training service providers and brokers their training products to industry. CCC is building up a ‘virtual’ course curriculum that consists of a full spectrum of coursing from entry level and awareness training right through to the delivery of specialty training. Courses are delivered as per industry demand.
The training is delivered at the CCC facility in Esquimalt or can be delivered at other locations in B.C. where there is sufficient demand (e.g. North Vancouver).
IMTARC developed curriculum in a number of key areas that have been identified as high priority by industry. These courses are all available and will be scheduled based on demand.

Workers need to understand the hazards of working at heights, especially since they are often hidden. They need to consistently follow the rules and safe working procedures to avoid these hazards.
The proper use of fall protection equipment when working at heights could prevent serious injuries and/or fatalities including fall arrest systems and other fall protection. This workshop is designed for participants who have little or no working knowledge of working at heights.
Optimize work environment and worker interaction with our Ergonomics training program. Address physical, cognitive, and organizational challenges for enhanced health, wellness, and error reduction in everyday life.
