Certificates of completion will be issued for those who complete all 8 lessons. a maximum of 8 students can be accommodated at one time so booking is essential.
Students must supply their own apron, face mask and container to take home what you bake in the lesson. Sanitizers will be supplied by the school. All ingredients and tools supplied by the school.

Lesson 2 - Carrot Cake & Custard Slices.
Lesson 3 - Jewish Tart.
Lesson 4 - Black Forest Gateau.
Lesson 5 - Rainbow Cake.
Lesson 6 - Lemon Curd Cake With Meringue Topping.
Lesson 7 - Red Velvet Cake With Cream Cheese Topping.
Lesson 8 - Chocolate Bar One Cake.
The above mentioned courses are all hands-on courses. Students take home whatever they bake or cook. Courses run over an 8-week period every Saturday 8.30 to 1pm.

During this class we explore various different methods of working with buttercream which is extremely trendy at the moment in the Wedding cake industry. During this class you will put together a 3 tier cake using different techniques with buttercream.
Our Culinary Baking & Pastry courses are designed for anyone wanting to learn to bake, decorate cakes and so much more. Classes are hands on and practical with support of theory notes and recipes.
You will learn to use gum paste in making detailed and realistic-looking flowers including Gerbera daisies and stargazer lilies. Additionally, you will learn about creating different blossoms, leaves, and bouquet designs.
This Course covers the fundamentals of making both traditional and contemporary Wedding Cakes. The Course is facilitated by the well-established Kate de Waal from Sugar ‘n Ice – Handmade Cakes of Distinction.
