You will be encouraged to develop your own pathway within the specialism and to acquire the skills necessary to pursue a career within today’s dynamic fashion and textile professions.
You will learn to combine traditional craft skills with digital technology, with a focus on research methods, visualisation including CAD, design process, critical and contextual studies, marketing and professional studies.
The course will encourage you to express a personal design signature whilst responding to a range of studio and workshop-based live projects. You will design for niche markets or in partnership with industry, providing a very ‘real’ experience of how the role of the designer impacts and responds to the consumer.
