Course Details

This flagship fashion course in London, UK, offers budding fashion designers the opportunity to study both traditional and innovative practices in fashion design, development, pattern cutting, sampling and digital design.

You will explore how computer-aided design and emerging digital technologies are helping to innovate the fashion creation process – from idea through to production.

You’ll develop an enviable skillset across the fashion design spectrum. This degree in fashion is geared towards developing fashion designers with industry-ready skills who have a firm grasp of research and concept development methodologies.

You’ll add an academic backbone to your natural design flair, discover and develop your distinctive creative identity, and hone the techniques and knowledge you’ll need to stand out from the crowd.

You’ll have constant industry engagement, be involved in live project briefs, and receive help to secure a work-based learning opportunity for one term of the course. Students have previously secured work-based learning opportunities in London, Antwerp, Paris, Milan and New York.

They’ve been given a taste of life at some of the world’s most prestigious fashion brands, including Givenchy, Viktor & Rolf, AF Vandevorst, Haider Ackermann and Calvin Klein.

During the fashion degree, you will also work on industry-led design briefs and competitions, with the likes of VF Corporation, which encompass Timberland, Wrangler, Lee and North Face and Kingpins denim.

Excuse the name drops, but the name on the label is pretty important in this business, and why shouldn’t you learn from – and aspire to be – the best?

When you study the BA (Hons) Fashion degree, you will work collaboratively across disciplines to learn how the latest 3D and design technology is helping to transform processes and innovate fashion creation.

You will consider your design signature from the get go. Our course leaders will oversee your growth as a fashion designer and be ably supported by other staff and visiting professionals.
