During this course you will develop your sewing skills and construct a simple garment. You will apply knowledge to research, prepare, layout, cut and construct a simple garment or an accessory using a commercial pattern.
If you're new to needle and thread, why not pop along to one of our sewing classes? You can learn the basics and begin to learn the basics of garment repairs and costume design. We'll give you a full demonstration on how to use a sewing machines and teach you the tricks of the trade.
This 6 week course is ideal for learners who are new to using commercial patterns or want to develop basic sewing skills.Â
