The B.A. in Fashion Design and Production program provides the comprehensive and contemporary skills in garment design and product development processes.
The undergraduate journey at SCAD begins with the SCAD Core, a series of foundation studies and general education courses focused on developing key critical thinking and communication skills.
Coursework incorporates technical sketching and fashion illustration, flat patternmaking and draping, computer-aided design, garment construction and fit, industry software knowledge, and conceptual and critical thinking.
The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion Design program develops research skills and conceptual design criteria techniques required to create balanced complex collections ranging from junior lines to the level of haute couture reflecting unlimited creativity.
