Enrolling in our Fashion Design program will allow you to develop and hone your skills in a dynamic and inspiring environment. During your studies, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends
  • Learn essential technical skills, such as pattern making and technical drawing in Adobe Illustrator
  • Acquire intricate Haute Couture sewing techniques
  • Master the art of drawing Fashion figures in various mediums, such as watercolor, pencil, marker, and pencil crayon
  • Expand your knowledge of textiles, the history of fashion, and fashion business marketing
  • Create a portfolio that showcases your talent, including professional photos of your second-year collection, a mood board, fashion illustrations, and your designer bio
  • Participate in the final project, which includes presenting your Haute Couture garment on a live model in front of a panel of judges

As a Fashion Design student, you will receive 21 hours of class per week, supplemented by approximately 30 hours of homework. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your original designs at the Grande Premiere, the Academy's year-end Fashion Show, in both your first and second year of study.

With our comprehensive curriculum and practical approach to learning, you'll be well-equipped to achieve your career goals and make a lasting impact in the Fashion Industry. Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
