Fast Forward is a group of teens from the Boston area who are passionate about film and video. In Fast Forward, we draw on our unique interests and experiences to tell compelling stories through art.
We feel that film is not only a form of entertainment but is also a tool for change.

ICA Teens is where we make art, tell our stories, discover new perspectives, meet new people, get out of our comfort zone, express ourselves, make beats, make film, and learn who we are.
The DASH Entertainment Technology program teaches the behind-the-camera aspects of the film world including script-writing, story-boarding, working with editing software such as Final Cut Pro, using state-of-the-art equipment, researching career options in the film industry.
This course introduces students to the world of filmmaking. Students are briefly introduced to the history of film as well as given an introduction to visual thinking and writing for film. Students learn to script, storyboard, direct, and edit through demonstrations and class discussions.

Teachers aren’t the only adults who can benefit from working together in this method! Adults of all levels of experience can explore this wonderful filmmaking process in workshops that result in share-able animated shorts.
