Fast Forward is a group of teens from the Boston area who are passionate about film and video. In Fast Forward, we draw on our unique interests and experiences to tell compelling stories through art.
We feel that film is not only a form of entertainment but is also a tool for change.

At MediaTech, you get access to industry-standard facilities and equipment. Both campuses have real sound stages with an array of digital film cameras and production support equipment.
In this studio class, students will find and nurture their passion for filmmaking. In the film program, students shoot their own films with Canon DSLR cameras and learn how to direct or act in original scenes.
Our Short Film Workshop is a hands-on class designed to introduce students to the art and craft of digital filmmaking. The workshop is an excellent exploration into the language of cinema and the tools of filmmaking, and can be taken either in-person or remotely.
In this class we will be working together to write, shoot, direct, edit and produce a short film. Members will work with staff to set up a production schedule, assign tasks, and find useful resources for their film.
Designed for people who wish to study the craft of filmmaking in an intensive environment, the 8-Week Filmmaking Workshop challenges students to produce five films over a period of two months.
