Objectives of Programme: To perform safe management and surgery for common burns and wound cases in adults and children. To learn how to set-up and maintain a Burns Unit and an operating wound care unit including instruments and equipment. To learn how to develop good Burn Unit and Wound Care team.

Certificate of completion of training certified by Course Director and Dean, Faculty of Medicine UKM will be given to all successful candidates.

The Faculty of Medicine UKM was established in 1974 and commenced with 44 students for the 1973/74 admissions session.

The certificate in clinical wound care is the only programme of its kind in malaysia which provides healthcare practitioners with the specialised knowledge and proficiency required to work in a practice setting with patients impacted by complex wounds resulting from a variety of disease pathologies
This workshop is designed for fresh medical practitioners, nurses and clinical assistants. Participants will have a chance to refresh their knowledge on wound care techniques and learn the ways of managing wounds depending on the depth and nature.
