?We offer in-studio private lessons and can create a class that best fits your schedule. We design a unique curriculum around your specific interests and learning objectives. These lessons are led by one of our lead teaching artists who also work as professional animators when they are not in our classrooms.
?We also provide on and off-site team building intensives where participants learn professional animation techniques and collaborate to create a film.
Laura received her masters degree in Arts Education from Pratt Institute and graduated with honors. She has created an original method of teaching that is rooted in her consideration of each student as a unique learner. Laura regards her teaching practice as a living art form.
This workshop combines theoretical and practical elements of cinematography with special emphasis on cultivating a film sensibility.
This course will introduce students to the formal and aesthetic principles of cinema, cultivating students’ literacy in both media form and cultural representation. Many of us watch some variation of film and television each day.
We create audio/visual stories in groups and as individuals, we showcase our work and share our messages with other teens. We develop industry specific skills with access to equipment and get to know professional filmmakers and artists at the forefront of their medium.
Filmmaking course is offered by Venice Arts for all skill level. We offer a dynamic, experiential learning environment, with no more than 12 kids in a class and an artist-to-youth ratio of 1:3. our high-impact programs foster creativity, arts knowledge and skills, and visual.
This course introduces students to the world of filmmaking. Students are briefly introduced to the history of film as well as given an introduction to visual thinking and writing for film. Students learn to script, storyboard, direct, and edit through demonstrations and class discussions.
