This module is designed to provide an introduction to financial accounting, corporate finance and financial management of organisations. The module is intended for students from any academic discipline who have an interest in accounting and finance as an adjunct to their principle area of study.

The focus of this course is to examine the principles of financing and investment decisions and their impact, valuation of a company, formation and management of current assets or capital, strategies and portfolio theory.

This non-credit four-month course is intended for students who want to gain general knowledge, learn a new skill, upgrade existing skills or develop personal interests in subjects related to business management, finance and accounting.
