• This module delves into the second phase of financial modelling, covering crucial aspects like proper model setup, creating a flexible time framework, linking historical data, forecasting operations, ensuring model balance, and a comprehensive debrief on linking operations.
• Working Capital
• Now lets look at working capital, first starting at an analysts perspective, then how to model working capital, and finishing off with quality control
• Asset and Liability Management
• Lets delve into topics such as depreciation, debt structures, interest expenses and income, modelling joint ventures and other assets, alongside a comprehensive examination of tax and deferred tax modelling. You will attain a solid understanding of managing assets and liabilities in financial models, ensuring accuracy and reliability in your financial analyses.
• DuPont
• This module introduces you to DuPont Analysis, a key financial analysis technique. You will understand the core components of DuPont Analysis, the calculation of capital employed, and practical implementation to assess a company's financial performance.
• Discounted Cash Flow
• This module guides you through fundamental valuation techniques in Excel, covering dividends, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) calculation, and the determination of Enterprise Value (EV), Equity Value, and Share Price.
• Refining The Model
• This module enhances your financial modelling in Excel, covering margin sensitivity, refining CapEx/RoCE using DuPont analysis, and employing data tables for scenario analysis, enabling more accurate financial evaluations.
• Credit & Liquidity analysis
• This module provides you with a thorough understanding of credit and liquidity analysis, crucial for evaluating the financial health of businesses, especially in Excel.
