About Wood Training
The mantra of our business “We Train To Save Lives” is simple, but that’s exactly what we do. M&O Pacific Limited trading as Wood Training is recognised as New Zealand’s pre-eminent provider of safety training and consultative services to the Oil & Gas, Energy, Food Processing, Transport, Construction, Engineering & Manufacturing, Marine & Aviation and Government.
Our services through these and other industry sectors continue to grow and develop, as we provide technical training and expertise across a wide range of safety courses, delivered both face-to-face and on-line. We passionately believe that everybody has the right to be safe.
Fire Warden course training is offered by Actron Fire Services for all skill level. We specialise in hand operated fire protection services and related safety equipment for commercial, marine and domestic use.Â
Non-Warden fire safety training tends to be ad hoc or limited to induction training. This can leave team members vulnerable and unsure what to do in an emergency as many tend to rely on Wardens for instruction.
Our Fire Wardens courses teach correct evacuation skills, correctly accounting for all occupants on a site and ensuring those with disabilities or those who are injured are kept safe and evacuated safely using appropriate actions.
This training is aimed ensuring workplaces are compliant. Â Department Heads, Section Leaders, Shift Managers and appointed Evacuation Wardens gain an appreciation of the risks of fire and their responsibilities.
Fire extinguishers can help staff tackle smaller fires and work well alongside your fixed fire suppression systems. During fire extinguisher training your team will learn how to operate the different types of fire extinguishers in your workplace.
