Participants will attain the practical application and understanding required to operate first attack fire fighting equipment in emergency situations and will be able to:
Understand and interpret legislative requirements
Understand the classification of fires
Demonstrate the correct use of portable fire extinguishers to extinguish fires.
Correctly use fire hose reels
Follow the correct procedures for use of fire blankets.

How To Correctly Use a Fire Blanket course is offered by Fyrepower.
The course will allow the participant to understand confining small workplace emergencies and the competency required to make decisions about people’s safety during a workplace emergency and to give instructions on the priority order for responding to the emergency incident area.
This training includes a theory component and practical walkthrough outlining risks, hazards and emergency response equipment. A detailed report is issued on completion. All warden training is completed in accordance with AS 3745
