Fire Drills Course

Fire drills are required by local fire codes and are mandatory in reinforcing training principles related to safe evacuation and/or relocation procedures outlined in your company’s site-specific Emergency Action Plan.

The fire drill and debrief session will use a real-time activation of building alarms to evacuate your building as the most effective way to ensure that all personnel knows building-specific procedures and evaluate and improve upon their performance. After the session is completed a critical assessment of overall performance is generated to identify specific strengths and weaknesses.

Course Agenda:

• Pre-drill briefing for key team members
• All hands practice in emergency evacuation and accounting procedures
• Interaction with local Fire Department personnel*
• Post drill team debriefing and performance evaluation
   

Course Format:

• Drill session only

Additional Information:

• Customization of this program is required
• Advance notification to local authorities required (participation based on availability)
• Alarm service company notification prior to drill is required
• Course length: 2.5 hours (30 minutes for evacuation and reentry to the building)
