Course Details

Buildings are equipped with fire safety equipment to detect & suppress fires and—most importantly—protect lives & property.

Under the current Australian Standards (AS3745 & AS4083), it is important that building occupants are familiar with the appropriate actions when an emergency arises.

 

  • Do you know how to evacuate safely?

  • Do you know how to use a fire extinguisher?

  • Are your building’s emergency procedures up to date?

  • Have procedures been tested?

  • Are your current evacuation plans compliant with modern requirements?

  • Understand Emergency response management and the importance of the site’s Emergency Control Organisation (ECO)

  • Be proficient in the selection, handling & usage of different types of extinguishers.
