People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site, and explain the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden.
Our course is designed for those holding a position within an organisation that has responsibilities in the event of an emergency and/or an evacuation. and covers the requirements of the role, legislation, managing an evacuation and interaction with emergency services.
This course teaches the different types of fire classes and fire suppression techniques and how to apply safe and effective fire suppression strategies. This course can be completed in conjunction with the Fire Warden training for a full day fire safety training course.
