Course Details

Fire Evacuation and First Response is a compulsory component of all fire training. This must be given to staff within one month of a person commencing work in the building and repeated two yearly. It covers the operation of manually operated fire alarms and fire fighting equipment in the building.

All Queensland workplaces as required under the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008. Evacuation and First Response is a compulsory component of all fire training.

There are no prerequisites for this course. You will however need certain literacy skills.

This is a nationally accredited training program. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment
