Fire Extinguisher Checks, Maintenance, and Training

ERC&T will make sure that all fire extinguishers in your facility are up to code with health and safety standards by the following process:

• Visually check all extinguishers for dents, leaks, cracks, rust, chemical deposits, and overall charge of the unit.
• Inspect that lock pins and tamper seal are not broken
• Hose and nozzle inspection
• Make sure extinguishers are properly pressurized
• Access to all extinguishers is clear with no barricades, locks, or impediments in the way.
• Make sure proper checklists and reports are completed in a timely manner
• Regularly scheduled visits to your facility to maintain a safe environment
• Replacement or additions of extinguisher where ERC&T deems necessary.
