When you come to our site, we have a number of realistic fire scenarios set up. After a short classroom session and demonstration, you’ll be using our extinguishers to fight different classes of fire. When we come to your site, we have our special F&ST purpose built trailer that opens up to reveal several fire scenarios including a switchboard, an oven, a stovetop and an office scenario.
Training is for a minimum of two hours or up to Unit Standard 3271, depending on your requirements. All extinguishers are supplied. Course numbers are a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 12 people.

This course provides students with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a fire and emergency warden in accordance with legal requirements, as well as factors involved in the safe evacuation of a workplace or site in an emergency.
Non-Warden fire safety training tends to be ad hoc or limited to induction training. This can leave team members vulnerable and unsure what to do in an emergency as many tend to rely on Wardens for instruction.
This fire extinguisher course will provide you with an understanding of the different types of fire extinguishers and give you the practical skills to put out a fire using the correct equipment, whilst learning about new developments relating to effective fire suppression.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site; and explain the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden.
