Upon successful completion of the Fire Fighter Minimum Standards training and the State Certification Examination, the student will receive a Certificate of Compliance from the Florida State Fire Marshall's Office, Bureau of Fire Standards & Training (BFST-352-369-2800) as a Florida State Certified Firefighter.
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Combined program involves 300 student contact hours (10 Credits) of training that includes lecture, laboratory, and clinical hours. Upon successful completion of the EMT training, the student is eligible to apply for the credentialing process to become a Florida State Certified Emergency Medical Technician.

The 20-hour course examines every aspect of fire protection management in high-rise structures through intense review of aspects of Local Law #5 of 1973 and the 2014 FDNY Code. Special emphasis is placed on the Fire Code Chapter 4-Emergency Planning and Preparedness and Chapter 9- Fire Protection.
Our Fire Alarm Systems course is designed to provide attendees with the proper information on codes and enforcement, per NFPA72. The course teaches the fundamentals of fire alarm technology and offers a hands-on training experience with various manufacturer systems.
Fire Watch training is offered by WTSTC. The content of our training courses and mode of delivery is approved by the WTSTC Steering Committee. WTSTC has a full-time training and administrative staff. Â All training is documented, and records are maintained in a secure database. Â
