Edinburgh & District Employers’ Training Association Limited was set up in 1966 and was located at Dock Street, Leith. EDETA as it became known, then moved to Kinnaird Park in January 2002. It is a Limited Company with charitable status under the Companies Acts, 1948 to 1967.
Our Fire Awareness Training course is aimed at all members of staff to help them understand the risks of fire within their workplace. This course is run as a bespoke course, tailored to each business with a minimum of 6 delegates per class.
This accredited qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in an area where there is a potential risk of fire.
The course is intended for employees nominated as fire wardens, with the aim of ensuring they receive formal instruction on fire warden duties and have a greater understanding of all aspects of fire safety in their workplace.
This Level 1 course is an introductory qualification for people looking to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace.
This course is a half-day Fire Marshal / Fire Warden training programme aimed at all staff to ensure they have a basic knowledge of fire and fire extinguishers.
