We will also teach you how to protect your staff and business from the devastation caused by fire. After completing this course, you will also learn evacuation procedures, how to run fire drills, and raising the alarm.

Our Fire Marshal course is specifically tailored to meet the needs of your designated fire warden.
It is also has vital information for the members of staff nominated to oversee fire safety in your workplace.

How is it assessed?

Throughout our Fire Marshal training course, you will be assessed by our highly experienced St John Ambulance Cymru trainers.
They will do this according to HSE guidelines.
Assessment will be done through practical demonstrations, hands-on experience, and Q&A sessions.

Certification

After successfully completing your Fire Marshal training course, you will be awarded with a St John Ambulance Cymru certificate, which is valid for 3 years and is approved by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
This will enable you to become the designated fire warden for your workplace.

St John Ambulance Cymru is one of the UK's voluntary aid societies (VAS). The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) looks to us for guidance on first aid treatment and training nationwide, and we set the standard that the HSE follows.

We are also a part of the First Aid Quality Partnership (FAQP). Observed by the HSE, we publish the quality assurance standards for all training providers to follow. This means that any accredited first aid training provider has to meet our standards in order to teach courses and award certificates.
