This Fire Marshal & Warden Training course includes a live-fire practical demonstration of the use of portable fire extinguishers. This fire safety training for employees can be held either at our purpose-built training facility in Staverton, Cheltenham, or our new Training Facility in Avonbank, Bristol. This course can also take place on-site at your premises.
Our fire warden training course would benefit anyone with a designated role as part of your fire safety policy, including; Fire Wardens/Marshals, Department Heads, Managers, Health & Safety representatives and Facilities Management.
It is crucial that you have enough staff/responsible persons trained to cover all eventualities. These may include circumstances such as high staff turnover, varied shift patterns etc.

This course covers the role of the designated fire marshal. It also gives you the opportunity to learn about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly.
This qualification is intended for those that are undertaking the role of a fire marshal in a workplace. The qualification builds on the Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work and includes safe evacuation and personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS).
Over a half day period, Learners will learn basic fire safety principles, including: causes of fires in the workplace, basic fire safety duties and responsibilities, principles of fire risk control, safe use of portable fire-fighting equipment and more.
This course also covers the 3 hour Fire Warden course syllabus. This can be delivered in the first 3 hours of the course. You can have some people just attend the first 3 hours to be a Fire Warden and have others stay for the full day to be a Fire Marshal.
