The Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness is designed to help an organisation to meet its duties under current fire safety legislation by providing employees with essential knowledge about fire safety.
To provide delegates with a basic understanding of health and safety, along with knowledge of the principle hazards and risks, legislation and best practice to safely work on Highways England’s Strategic Road Network (SRN).
Your employees will learn about the best ways to react to a fire and the proper method to select an appropriate extinguisher. We complete a test at the end of the course to evaluate the knowledge accumulated by attendees.
Fire Awareness Training is a legal requirement for all staff under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and current HSE regulations. The Fire Marshal Training course covers basic fire safety, evacuations and the use of extinguishers and legal responsibilities.
This half day course is designed to introduce delegates to the identification of fire hazards, risk reduction measures, fire safety management and actions to take in the event of fire.
