This qualification will benefit anyone in the workplace who has been appointed to carry out fire safety tasks on behalf of the employer. It is particularly suitable for employees hoping to develop their basic fire safety awareness and undertake specific fire safety roles.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 places a legal duty on employers and hence it is essential to appoint a Fire Warden and/or Fire Marshall to meet the relevant parts of that statute.
This course is designed to teach candidates the dangers of fire and give them basic fire awareness and fire fighting skills. Practical live fire sessions can be arranged where required.
This course is designed to introduce delegates to the identification and control of fire risks and will give the delegates the knowledge and confidence to execute their duties in the event that a fire is discovered.
The main outcome of this training course is to provide you with the knowledge to carry out the functions of a fire marshal. – Please note, this course also contains all of the content in the Basic Fire Awareness and Fire Extinguisher courses. Course approved by RoSPA and IFE.
