The Fire Safety Adviser course is run over 3 days. This course will provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to assume the role and responsibilities of a Fire Safety Adviser in accordance with the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.
The course will also provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to advise on appropriate emergency planning and be familiar with all aspects of building fire safety.
This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Course Structure:
To receive this qualification you must complete;
PUAFER001 Identify, prevent and report potential facility emergency situations
PUAFER002 Ensure facility emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented
PUAFER003 Manage and monitor facility emergency procedures, equipment and other resources
PUAFER004 Respond to facility emergencies
PUAFER005 Operate as part of an emergency control organisation
PUAFER006 Lead an emergency control organisation
PUAFER007 Manage an emergency control organisation
PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility

This course covers the competency required by Chief Fire Wardens to make decisions about people’s safety during a workplace emergency and to give instructions on the priority order for responding to the emergency incident area.
We offer fire safety training to allow users to become more confident with fire fighting equipment. The quick, most appropriate reaction of employees if there is a fire on the premises, is not only important for their safety but also to the other people and customers on the premises.
Our Firepak representative is qualified as a Fire Safety Advisor and is nominated as the FSA for your building (resulting in considerable savings of time and cost associated with this specialised training).
The Fire Warden (also known as Emergency Warden) Training Course lasts four hours. The course provides in-depth knowledge on various topics related to general fire safety and emergency management at your business (facility).
