Fire Safety

Fire safety training covers a range of topics including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, firefighting equipment, and first aid. Candidates will have an opportunity to practice using a fire extinguisher.

This training covers a wide range of topics, including the causes and risks of pressure ulcers, identification, and assessment of pressure ulcers, wound care techniques and strategies for preventing pressure ulcers.

Upon completion of the course candidate will have an appreciation of the role they play in infection control and be able to implement good practise in the workplace, and know how individuals can contribute to infection prevention and control.
