Providing training on the proper use of fire extinguishers and adequate fire response will assist in preventing fires and minimize damages caused by a fire.
This course teaches participants how to prevent fires in the workplace by understanding how fires start, types of fires, the stages of a fire, and the proper use of fire extinguishers. The class also covers evacuation procedures and a discussion about when a trained worker might attempt to fight a fire.

Participants receive instruction in areas such as duties and responsibilities of an OSSA Fire Watch, what is meant by “hot work,” correct record keeping, use of safety equipment, emergency preparedness, how fire develops and transfers heat, fire suppression.
This training equips participants to identify and assess hazards that can give rise to fires. The Fire Watch training program is designed to provide participants with knowledge and information necessary to perform fire watch duties.
Fire extinguisher training teaches you about fires, fire hazards, and how to extinguish them using a fire extinguisher. This course is offered in a convenient online format, to save you time and money, and still ensure your workers are trained.
This may include specific duties in an evacuation, but it could also mean specific responsibilities for ongoing safety or fire prevention. Proper fire warden training for these individuals to ensure they have the knowledge they need to carry out their duties.
