Maxwell Training’s Complete Basic Fire training is a proactive course designed to prepare you for the role as Warden or Chief Warden in your workplace and prepare you for small workplace emergencies. Training includes such incidents as a small fire that can be controlled using a nearby fire extinguisher. Preventing, preparing for and responding to emergencies, recovery from emergencies, giving instructions on the priority order for responding to the emergency and being the primary liaison with Emergency Services. By attending this course you will learn how to effectively control workplace emergencies.
This course is appropriate for people requiring the skills to perform the duties of a Warden & Chief Warden in the workplace.

The Juvenile Fire Lighter Intervention Program (JFLIP) is a free, confidential, state-wide service to help families deal with child fire lighting behaviour.
This unit is designed to ensure that an appropriate first response to fire incidents in onshore and offshore situations/emergencies is achieved. This competency applies to students who are required to respond to fires in the workplace (other than evacuating to the assembly point).
