This course provides a clear understanding of the responsibilities, duties and role of a Fire Warden/Marshal, conforming to all the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005. Delegates will also be trained to identify and rectify problem areas, with the end result being a safer workplace.
The evacuation of all personnel within a building should be clear and contained in staff guidelines. They should be regularly rehearsed as a part of every evacuation or fire drill and we cover this extensively within the course.

Fire Wardens are usually nominated to take on extra fire related responsibilities in the workplace. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 mentions that the 'responsible person' should appoint 'competent persons' to assist in fire related matters and should received relevant training.
This course is a half-day Fire Marshal / Fire Warden training programme aimed at all staff to ensure they have a basic knowledge of fire and fire extinguishers.
The aim of the course is to raise the awareness of personnel to legislation concerning their place of work.
