Fire Wardens are usually nominated to take on extra fire related responsibilities in the workplace. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 mentions that the 'responsible person' should appoint 'competent persons' to assist in fire related matters and should received relevant training. This role could carried out by a Fire Warden.

A Fire Warden training course is another of our popular course of three hours duration aimed at staff who have been given more responsibility in dealing with a fire emergency and undertaking fire prevention duties. This course combining theoretical and practical sessions will allow staff to respond effectively in dealing with a fire emergency.  

It also features specific duties undertaken by a Fire Warden or Fire Marshal.  All delegates receive a comprehensive course manual and a course certificate. Everyone will be given the opportunity to use a fire extinguisher on a live controlled fire using our environmentally friendly fire simulation apparatus.  Not only will this course promote confidence in trained staff in dealing with a fire emergency it also ensures that employers are complying with relevant fire, health and safety legislation.
