Fire Warden Training Course

Our Fire Warden training course is a half day course suitable for employees who have been designated with additional duties in the event of a first evacuation. This Fire Warden Training Course provides those staff with an understanding of key principles in fire prevention and safe evacuation. The format of the course covers duties and responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
As an employer the course supports your compliance in providing health and safety information and training to employees.

The Fire Warden Training course is delivered in an interactive way with group work and discussion. The layout of your premises and considerations on site will be discussed in delivery.

Course content includes:

• Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order key principles

• Fire prevention

• The Fire triangle

• Methods of Fire spread

• Duties of those with designated roles – Fire Warden, Assembly point co-ordinator

• Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP)

• Fire Safety Guidance

• Fire drills

• Fire log book

• Fire safety checks

• Communication with the Fire and Rescue Service

Course duration is 4 hours and a Training Provider Certificate is awarded for each learner
