Due to the nature of the training course and the emphasis placed on communication, there is only a provision for the assessments to be undertaken in English. Therefore, candidates for this type of training must be able to understand and speak the English language.
This course teaches candidates how to evacuate the part of the premises they are responsible for should a fire occur. It also teaches candidates how to select and safely operate the correct portable fire extinguisher – all candidates who attend this course will receive practical training on how to use a fire extinguisher.
