Fire Watch

Fire Extinguisher training is offered by Pacific Safety Center. To deliver safety education and training for business and community. The Pacific Safety Center is dedicated to making our communities safer places to live, learn, work and play by providing quality education, information, programs.

This means that whenever you are working with welding equipment within a confined space or in any area where there is potential for fire hazard, you are being spotted and have someone there for an emergency.

This class is compliant with 1910.252 and will teach employees how to recognize hazards that could create flammable or combustible environments. Atmospheric monitoring, correct permit writing, and the regulations for working around potentially flammable sources will all be learned.

We present a video describing different types of fire and explain the selection and use of different types of extinguishers. There is a question and answer period with our trained technician and our class culminates in a hands-on demonstration with each person using extinguishers to put out a fire...

The Fire Safety Inspector program is based on NFPA 1031 Standard for Professional Qualification for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner.  The program covers fire codes and standards, plan review, building construction, fire prevention, and more.
