Firearms Safety Course 11029NAT (approved for firearms licensing in Queensland) provides the basic skills and knowledge essential to firearms legislation, firearms safety in the community, licensing requirements, safe handling, safe storage and transport, as well as additional information which is essential to all shooters.

This course provides the basic skills and knowledge essential to firearms legislation, firearms in the community, licensing requirements, safe handling, safe storage and transport, as well as additional information which is essential to all shooters.
Firearm Safety Courses are conducted frequently at the TMRC clubhouse for Category A and B weapons (category H is available on request). The courses are run on a weekend (typically on a Saturday) and take 4 to 5 hours depending on the number of participants.

Security officers who hold a firearms licence for the purposes of Cash-In-Transit (CIT) duties or similar and has completed CPPSEC3008A Control security risk using firearms from CPP30411 Certificate III in Security operations must under go re-qualification and assessment every 12 months
The Monaro Arms Safety course is for categories A & B for the purpose of sport target shooting & recreational hunting.
This nationally recognized course is for participants wishing to gain a Queensland Weapons Licence.
