We understand that not everybody shoots the same way, so out practical shooting approach is a great way to learn the fundamentals and advance as a shooter. All of our classes are custom tailored to each student.
I have been shooting for over 20 years and love to see a passion for learning and expanding as a shooter. Pistols, shotgun and rifle, I like seeing someone step up and try to advance as a shooter. My specialty is teaching women to shoot in a comfortable and fun environment.
As a Non Commissioned Officer and Marksmanship Master Trainer in the U.S. Army/California National Guard, I always have safety and training as my top priorities. I can teach in high stress environments while keeping safety at the front.
I grew up on the range watching people struggle who thought they knew what they were doing. My passion as an instructor is helping people find their groove and making good marksmanship on obtainable goal.
We excel at things we practice, but many things in life cant be improved by brute repetition. Good training, paired with knowledge from an experienced instructor will take range day and turn it into something amazing.
The course is designed to create a competency in every student before proceeding to the range where live ammunition and firearms are used. No one is ever forced to fire live rounds until he/she is confident and comfortable with the operation of a handgun and/or rifle.
This class is required by North Carolina to obtain the Concealed Carry Handgun Permit in order to legally carry a concealed handgun in public. This class is comprised of eight hours of mandatory classroom training with additional time spent on the range for a shooting practical.
Basic Defensive Shotgun is an informational and hands-on class in the use of the modern pump or semi-automatic shotgun as a home defense weapon. A shotgun is an extremely effective, diverse, and psychologically intimidating self-defense weapon. But there are many misconceptions about it.
This class covers firearms safety, State and Federal laws, safe storage, cleaning, parts & operation, shooting fundamentals and how to draw from a holster. There is both a state qualification and a written exam that must be passed to complete this course.
