Fire Extinguisher Use training is offered by Premier Workforce Training. Our training solutions are designed to address your business goals by improving customer service, employee safety, teamwork, leadership, business operations and instituting best practices.Â
The training begins with a 15-minute DVD which explains fire prevention, evacuation, the classes of fires, and the basic operation of a fire extinguisher. After the presentation, we review the types of fire extinguishers on site and the organization’s policy and procedures.Â
This course satisfies the Advanced Firefighting training requirements of STCW Code Section A-VI/3 and 46 CFR 11.201(h), and 11.303(a). Upon meeting the minimum standard of competence in advanced firefighting, a trainee will be competent to take command, organize and train fire parties.
