City First Aid Training Ltd was founded in Christchurch in 1999 as a professional First Aid training provider. We have grown to offer courses throughout New Zealand.
City First Aid Training Ltd is registered by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority as a Private Training Establishment under the provisions for the Education Act 1989 and its subsequent amendments.
This course is structured around various scenarios and incorporates interactive, theoretical and practical components to replicate real-life first aid incidents.
New Zealand’s workplace accident rate is one of the highest in the developed world. Having trained and competent First Aiders in the workplace not only provides companies with individuals that can provide First Aid until emergency services take over.
This two day workshop provides participants with a range of first aid skills, including cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). On successful completion of the course, you will receive a First Aid Certificate.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn basic first aid. It is also the minimum qualification requirement for a workplace first aider. It assists with workplaces meeting health and safety standards and is compliant with WorkSafe NZ requirements.
Our workplace first aid training covers NZQA Unit Standards 6402 and 6401 to ensure all participants feel confident they have the skills to provide life saving first aid assistance in their workplace.
