First Aid at Work

This course is designed for learners who want to receive our most thorough land-based first aid training based at our training centre or yours. Our trainers are flexible to meet date and time according to your workforce requirements and where necessary ensure training meets your workplace risk assessment.

In addition to the contents of the Emergency First Aid at Work course the learner will be able to administer first aid to a casualty with:

• Injuries to bones, muscles, and joints, including suspected spinal injuries
• Chest injuries
• Burns and scalds
• Eye Injuries
• Sudden poisoning
• Anaphylactic shock

The learner will recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first aid, including:

• Heart attack
• Stroke
• Epilepsy
• Asthma
• Diabetes
