Hey I’m Saba.
I was born in Brighton and love everything to do with our vibrant city. I love living by the sea and regularly enjoy sea swimming with my family. Another passion of mine is my garden and any spare time I have when I’m not working with Heart First Aid is spent gardening and tending to my plants.
Before having children, I was a nurse and have a naturally caring nature, which has led me to continue helping others. I met Jade as our children are at the same school, and together we created Heart First Aid. We are passionate about helping people gain the knowledge and confidence to perform first aid. Our mission is to love first aid, love life and we hope to train as many people as possible from children to adults to promote first aid too!
Jade and I don’t just teach first aid together, we are often on the side of a football pitch cheering on our boys. Heart First Aid has grown organically from the side-lines and our similar approach to life and our work ethic are at the forefront of our business.
Hi I’m Jade!
I have been a first aid trainer and assessor since 2019 and absolutely love the role. Having the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life and giving them the knowledge and confidence to help others in first aid situations gives me real job satisfaction!
I was born in Brighton and have lived in the area for most of my life with a short spell in London and Sydney, Australia. My previous jobs have been in the corporate event industry and 14 years working as crew for Virgin Atlantic.
Here is where I first learned the importance of first aid, with focused annual training. I left aviation after having two fabulous children and studied to gain a teaching qualification along side a first aid training qualification.
Heart First Aid was born!!
When I am not training you will find me on the side-lines of a football pitch most weekends cheering on my children! I also enjoy running and group fitness classes, reading and drinking a good glass of red wine.
We have a great friendship and working relationship which we feel reflects in both our daily life and during our training. We have the same belief in that the more people we can train in first aid the better.
Our motto is Love First Aid Love Life!!
