  • Teacher's Experience
  • I started my working life doing a wide variety of jobs including Cabin Crew for Britannia Airways, Lifeguarding and being a Sports Centre Manager. I began delivering training at an early age through sports coaching but becoming a Manager really ignited a lifelong passion for all things health and safety. I spent several years in West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service as a Fire Safety Officer which gave me valuable experience around the enforcement and application of H&S legislation within businesses and industry. I have always enjoyed every aspect of training, so it became a natural progression for me to begin a career teaching. I joined The Source in 2007 and the extent of my deliverable courses has expanded massively over the years. However, no matter which course I deliver the “bedrock” of all I do is for the learner to enhance their knowledge and importantly, to enjoy my class too.
