The Emergency First Aid at Work course is more properly described as the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQCF). This Emergency First Aid at Work course is fully accredited on the RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) at Level 3
The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one-day module which will enable you to act with knowledge and confidence as an ‘Appointed Person’ in relation to First Aid in the workplace.
To give delegates the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to assist the qualified first aider in the event of a workplace emergency. In some cases it may be appropriate for this person to provide short-term cover for the qualified first aider if they were absent without prior warning.
This half day course can be used as a stand-alone Basic First Aid qualification or can also be attended as an Annual Update for current First Aid at Work certificate holders.
Employers have to risk assess their workplace first aid requirements and the (1 Day) Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work RQF qualification is one of the statutory qualifications for this purpose.
